Custom Channel Letters for UAE Projects: Heat, Installation and Export Planning

For a UAE channel-letter project, the factory needs the actual site exposure, approved artwork and installation scope. Give heat, dust, solar exposure and service access specific attention where they apply. Do not replace a site brief with a blanket claim that one construction suits every UAE location.

Specify the operating environment

Provide the emirate, site address, facade orientation, shelter and the project design conditions established by the responsible team. Identify where power equipment will sit and whether the enclosure has a different environment from the visible letters. Component selection should follow the actual specified operating conditions.

Review thermal suitability using model data

Ask for the selected LED and power-component identities and the relevant operating limits. The electrical designer should account for the installation and any required derating using the actual model documentation. A nominal wattage on its own cannot establish suitability for an exposed or enclosed location.

Freeze bilingual artwork and local interfaces

Where Arabic and English wording are used, obtain buyer-approved outlined artwork for both. Preserve joining forms, detached elements and spacing through the drawing and template. Have the local team confirm the applicable authority or property approvals, mounting details and electrical interface for that site.

Plan delivery and maintenance access

Identify shipment dimensions, receiving access and which components are supplied locally. Show how the installed sign and power equipment can be reached for service. Keep packing labels and as-built records tied to the approved sign identifiers, including separate artwork elements.

No. Review the actual component limits, enclosure arrangement and project conditions with the responsible technical team.
