CUSTOM CHANNEL LETTERS

Custom Channel
Letter Signs

Make your name or logo stand out with dimensional illuminated letters. Choose front-lit, halo-lit or combined lighting for a storefront, office or suitable feature wall. Order from 1 complete sign or letter set; your quote will list the letters, logo parts and supplied components.

A name, logo, sketch or description is enough to start. Size and technical details can be confirmed later.

START WITH THE EFFECT

Compare Four Lighting Styles

Choose the appearance first. We can review the build once you share your artwork and installation context.

01 / LIGHTING STYLE

Front-Lit

A bright, illuminated face.

The face provides the visible light; the returns define the letter depth. Review face color, stroke width and the surrounding light.

02 / LIGHTING STYLE

Halo-Lit

Light reflected onto the wall.

Light exits behind the letter. Wall color, texture and stand-off distance influence the halo; confirm these with the installation surface.

Dual-lit concept: light travels through the face and behind the letter toward the wall.WallRear lightFace lightLetter · side view
Lighting concept only · schematic, not a product photograph or fabrication drawing.

03 / LIGHTING STYLE

Dual-Lit

Face illumination plus a rear halo.

Combines the two lighting directions. Review the face and halo effect together, including color, wall finish and clearance.

Open-face concept: visible LED points within a letter-shaped open channel.Visible LED pointsOpen channel · front view
Lighting concept only · schematic, not a product photograph or fabrication drawing.

04 / LIGHTING STYLE

Open-Face

Visible light sources within the letter.

An exposed-light appearance. Confirm the light-source arrangement, enclosure and protection for the site; do not assume a marquee bulb construction.

Photographs are visual references from different signs and samples, not one project record or proof of a direct brand relationship.

INSIDE THE LETTER

The Details Behind the Effect

Returns, faces and LED layouts work together. These workshop views show different components during assembly—not a complete build record for one sign.

Letter Shell & Return Depth

Aluminum or stainless-steel returns and backs, with acrylic faces where the lighting design requires them. Trim-cap or trimless details are reviewed with the artwork and construction.

LED layout & cable routing

Module spacing, stroke width and letter depth influence the lighting layout. Confirm cable exits and access before the drawing is released for production.

Rear Fixing & Cable Exit

The backing layer and projecting metal fixing rods are visible in this sample. Fixing positions and the cable-exit location are reviewed for the selected letter build and site interface.

Why return depth matters

Backing details and cable exits vary with the selected construction. The side-profile reference below shows a trailing cable.

FIT THE SITE

Mounting, Power & Project Options

You do not need every answer to start. Share the known site conditions; we will identify what still needs confirming.

What You Can Define

Letterform & Size
Shape and proportions are developed from the supplied artwork and project dimensions.
Face & Return
Face construction, return depth and edge treatment are reviewed for the required appearance.
Color & Finish
Color references and available surface finishes are confirmed before production.
Lighting Effect
Front-lit, halo-lit, dual-lit or other confirmed configurations can be reviewed with the artwork.
Mounting Approach
Direct studs, raceway, backer panels, rails or stand-off arrangements can be reviewed where applicable.

What We Need to Confirm

You can start with what you already have. We will identify the remaining items during review.

Artwork & Dimensions
Logo or lettering files, approximate dimensions and quantity.
Surface & Mounting Condition
Installation surface, available fixing area and site photos.
Cable Route & Power Conditions
Cable path, site supply, driver location and maintenance access, where known.
Environment & Project Location
Indoor or outdoor use, exposure and the installation location.
Delivery Requirements
Destination, shipment grouping and any requested handover support.
Voltage & power planning

Installation & Handover Support

Project drawings, mounting references, cable and power coordination, and supplied-item references can support the agreed handover. Project-specific installation information is provided where agreed.

Mounting coordination guide

Factory scope and site work are agreed separately. The project’s qualified local professionals confirm wall support, fixings, applicable requirements and final installation.

FROM DRAWING TO DELIVERY

A Letter Set. A Defined Scope.

Agree the build before fabrication, then review the finished set and the items included in the shipment.

01 / FABRICATION

Metal Fabrication

This close view shows a seam being joined on a shaped metal component. Outlines, depth, finish, mounting points and cable exits are agreed in the production reference.

02 / ASSEMBLY

Letter Assembly

Components are organized at the assembly tables. Dimensions, visible finish and illumination are checked against the agreed reference before packing.

03 / PACKING

Packing Preparation

The open crate shows boxed components grouped for packing. Surface protection, component grouping and supplied items are prepared around the agreed project scope and destination.

What Can Be Included in the Handover

  • Approved production reference
  • Supplied component identification
  • Packing or grouping reference
  • Project-specific installation information, where agreed

Included documents and components are confirmed in the quotation and approved scope.

BEFORE YOU SEND THE BRIEF

Start With What You Have

A reference, a drawing or a few site photos can start the conversation.

Can I start without a complete drawing?

Yes. Send the artwork or reference image, approximate size, quantity and a site photo if available. We can review what you have and identify the missing decisions before a production drawing is approved.

What if I do not know the wall or power details yet?

Send the site photos and information you have. Mounting, cable routing, driver location and destination supply can then be coordinated with your installer before the build is confirmed.

Can I approve a prototype before repeat production?

Prototype and repeat-production support are available. Agree the prototype scope, cost, finish references and approval drawing first; keep that approved reference for the repeat order.

What should I send for a quotation?

Send your artwork, approximate dimensions, quantity, intended lighting effect, site photos and delivery destination. Share what is available; missing mounting or power details can be identified during review. The quotation defines the supplied scope. What affects channel letter pricing

Can approved drawings be reused for later orders?

An approved drawing can serve as a reference for a repeat order. Confirm its revision, dimensions, finish, lighting and supplied components, and flag any changes to the new site or delivery requirements before production.
