What Are LED Light Box Signs?
Light box signs are illuminated enclosures with a printed face that glows evenly from internal LED panels. They are widely used for storefronts, shopping malls, exhibitions, restaurants and directional signage because they deliver large-format, uniform illumination at a lower cost than channel letters.
Common Light Box Types
Fabric light boxes (tension fabric): Stretch fabric graphic prints over an aluminum frame. Lightweight, easy to change graphics, popular for malls and exhibitions.
Acrylic light boxes: Rigid acrylic face with aluminum or steel housing. Durable for outdoor use, available in rectangle, oval, circle or custom shapes.
Projecting (double-sided) light boxes: Mount perpendicular to the building wall, visible from two directions. Ideal for narrow storefronts and pedestrian streets.
Edge-lit light boxes: LEDs on the edge of an acrylic panel. Ultra-thin profile for premium interior displays.
